Future Leaders: Meet MRB Group’s 2026 Interns

June 16, 2026

At MRB Group, we believe the best way to learn is through real-world experience. That’s the foundation of our ElevatEd Internship Program, which provides students and emerging professionals with meaningful opportunities to work alongside our teams, contribute to projects, and gain firsthand experience serving communities.

This summer, we’re excited to welcome five talented interns from diverse academic backgrounds and disciplines. From engineering and architecture to planning and sustainability, each intern brings a unique perspective and a passion for making a difference.

Anna-Leigha Clarke

Summer Architecture/Interior Design Intern
Rochester, New York

A Master’s student in Architecture at Rochester Institute of Technology, Anna-Leigha was drawn to MRB Group because of the variety of projects our teams work on. She is looking forward to collaborating with the architecture team and gaining exposure to different project types across the industry.

When she’s not studying or designing, Anna-Leigha enjoys crocheting and reading mystery novels.

Sierra Doody

Summer GIS Intern
Rochester, New York

After graduating from SUNY Geneseo with degrees in Geography and Sustainability Studies, Sierra will begin pursuing her Master of Urban Planning degree at the University at Buffalo this fall.

Returning for a second summer with MRB Group, Sierra is excited to continue building on the experience she gained during her previous internship. She looks forward to exploring a wide range of planning projects before beginning graduate school.

Outside of work, Sierra enjoys running, reading, playing guitar, and spending time with friends.

Eli Hunt

Summer Civil Engineering Co-op.
Rochester, New York

Eli is studying Civil Engineering Technology at Rochester Institute of Technology and is spending his summer gaining hands-on experience with projects that help improve infrastructure and services for communities across New York State.

One aspect of MRB Group that particularly appealed to Eli was the opportunity to work with teams in both Rochester and Syracuse, giving him exposure to a variety of projects and communities.

In his free time, Eli enjoys riding motorcycles, rock climbing, and hiking.

Erica Rivas

Summer Civil Engineering Summer
Austin, Texas

A Civil Engineering student at the University of Texas at Austin, Erica is eager to learn how engineering design software supports projects from planning and design through bidding and construction.

She chose MRB Group because of its collaborative culture and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced consulting environment while continuing to grow professionally.

Outside of engineering, Erica enjoys biking on Austin’s trails and parks and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Jonathan Salmon

Civil Engineering Summer Intern
Temple, Texas

Jonathan is pursuing his Bachelor of Science in General Civil Engineering at Texas A&M University. He chose MRB Group because of the firm’s commitment to helping communities grow and improve.

This summer, Jonathan is excited to gain firsthand experience seeing how projects progress from initial concepts through completion while learning from experienced professionals.

Outside of school, Jonathan enjoys reading, exercising, and playing games with friends.

Elevating the Next Generation

The ElevatEd Internship Program is designed to provide more than just workplace experience. Through mentorship, project involvement, professional development opportunities, and collaboration across disciplines, interns gain valuable insight into how architecture, engineering, planning, and local government services come together to move communities forward.

We’re proud to support the next generation of professionals and look forward to seeing the impact these talented students will make throughout the summer and beyond.
