Smile at the World Orthodontics

MRB Group was contracted for architectural and engineering services to design an orthodontics building for Dr. Joshua Knowles in West Temple. The project’s scope was a free-standing 5,098-square-foot building comprised of nine (9) open hygiene areas, three (3) private treatment areas, a private doctor’s office, a staff lounge, and waiting and support services. MRB prepared architectural construction documents to construct the building and coordinated between all design disciplines, including MEP with Cen-Tex Engineering and BENCO Dental, the equipment designer.

Preliminary design of the building commenced while the owner/client was negotiating locations to construct his building. The client selected the site location during a brief hiatus on the design documentation, and the building footprint was coordinated with the Civil Engineer Turley Associates during the final design. MRB worked closely with the contractor to value engineer the project during the design.
