Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark
The Six Flags Hotel and Waterpark at the Great Escape is located near Lake George in the historic Adirondack region. The design was for a new 200 suite hotel with supporting
spaces, including restaurants, banquet areas, retail, and lobby spaces.
The project represents Six Flags’ entrance into the popular hotel/indoor waterpark resort market. With a comprehensive Adirondack theme, the building is designed as a classic
Adirondack Inn with the modern attractions of an indoor waterpark.
The two-story entry space, complete with log trim, Adirondack furniture, and a stone fireplace, sets the tone for the detailing that is carried throughout the facility.
Our architects and designers were involved in all phases of the design, including the selection and coordination of FF&E elements to ensure that the theme was consistent throughout.
Big Idea
To create a cohesive resort destination that captures the spirit of the Adirondacks while delivering modern, all-season attractions for families and visitors.
