Dryden Water System Improvements
The Village of Dryden operates a Public Water Supply system consisting of four groundwater supply wells, two water storage facilities and a distribution system that serves the Village, portions of the Town of Dryden, and the Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) campus.
MRB Group began working with the Village on updating their water system by completing a comprehensive Engineering Study that addressed a number of concerns, including various code issues, capacity issues, fire flow, and water storage issues, as well as issues with arsenic levels that exceeded the maximum contaminate level allowed by the Tompkins
County Health Department. Many improvements were designed by MRB Group, including two new groundwater wells, replacement of reservoirs with new 0.5 million gallon water tanks, SCADA system improvements, and more.
MRB Group also assisted the Village in securing a 0% interest, 30-year loan for the project through the NYSEFC.
