CEDS & Economic Recovery Plan – Central Texas Council of Governments

MRB Group was engaged by the Central Texas Council of Governments and the Development District of Central Texas to plan beyond the COVID-19 pandemic with a new Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), including a special look at economic recovery. Our team worked with CTCOG and its partners to create a strategy that will generate economic progress over the next five years while simultaneously addressing the economic resiliency of the region. Areas of focus include critical infrastructure, services, and assets that need to be maintained and supported to ensure economic continuity in Central Texas, as well as addressing skills and education gaps to prepare the future workforce.
