Description: MRB Group was retained to design Dick Ide Volkswagen’s new addition and extensive renovation of their dealership showroom. The completed facility reflects Volkswagen’s corporate standards, customized through an extensive design process to support the workflow, and improve the environment of the Ide Volkswagen dealership management and staff, along with their valued customers.

The design and renovation met the challenge of creating an open and airy environment in the main showroom. This was achieved by removing an intermediate mid-level floor, dramatically increasing the height of the showroom and exposing the ceiling. A continuous floor-to-ceiling glass curtainwall system was also created. As a result, a sense of openness and an abundance of natural light are now prevalent throughout the dealership. The showroom area offers clean finishes, and ample space for vehicle display, reception area, merchandise sales and spacious lounge areas.
