Description: MRB Group was selected by Tioga County to assist the County Planning Department and provide both guidance and best practices to aid local municipalities in review of solar development. Topics included review processes, site locations and operational / maintenance, and updating antiquated municipal codes to address the impacts of this emerging technology.

While consideration of topics like battery storage and decommissioning of equipment are always paramount, MRB Group team members foster discussion of equally critical elements of successful strategies: stakeholder engagement, training, and long term planning and processes for continual policy review.
