MRB Group President Ryan Colvin, PE, recently announced that his team of licensed architects continues to grow and excel. Temple-based Crystal Nicole Cowen has received accreditation from the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners, allowing her to practice architecture in the State of Texas.
“Crystal has always provided critical support to the entire architectural team as a talented designer. While her outstanding portfolio of work continues to be a demonstration of her personal success, we are extremely proud of her significant achievement in obtaining her license,” said Colvin. “Texas licensure is a rigorous process, and her hard work and dedication certainly contributed to this accomplishment,” he stated.
Colvin says that he and his management team members believe in fostering attainment of personal and professional goals, which he calls the foundation of leadership at MRB Group.
“Crystal was among nine individuals who recently received well-deserved promotions. It’s no surprise that she will celebrate two victories as we begin the new year,” Colvin continued. “We’re certain we will see many future achievements from Crystal. “Crystal is participating in the Temple Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Temple Program and is a member of its Class of 2020,” said Tanya Reed-Mikeska, Crystal’s mentor and team leader.
According to the Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Temple is a professional development and education program for current and emerging leaders which focuses on the City of Temple and its “history, government, economy, social issues, needs and opportunities,” in order to foster community awareness, civic engagement and to cultivate talent and volunteerism that will support growth. It consists of a series of monthly classes, a final project, and a graduation ceremony.
“Crystal’s participation will strengthen her ties to the network of alumni, and I have no doubt that she will be a strong contributor to the Leadership Temple program and its impact on the greater community,” said Mikeska-Reed.
